Our Client is looking for an SAP Ariba Lead Consultant. Start: ASAP. End Date: 1 Year Contract. Strong chance of a renewal of 6 months or more. Location: Preference is for someone in Vancouver, BC; onsite 4 days work in the office, 1 day offsite work from home. Our Client is open to receiving remote candidates as well. Work Type: Contract Role Overview Reporting to Supply Chain Process Lead, the SAP/Ariba Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the analysis, design, and implementation of an enterprise-wide business process led ERP, ensuring alignment with strategic (blueprint) objectives, optimization of processes, and enabling effective decision-making across the organization. The Ariba lead also needs to have strong written skills and communicate up to the C-Suite. There will be many issues to deal with around change adoption so this role requires someone with high EQ (Emotional Quotient).

Responsibilities
    • Liaise with teams from multiple functions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business needs and facilitating effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Participate in project activities including, but not limited to business process build, requirements gathering, documenting, updating business outcomes and organization readiness sessions.
    • Support Process Lead in gathering and detailing business requirements for SAP Source to Pay and Ariba modules.
    • Assist with documenting and testing process flows and functional requirements.
    • Participate in workshops and meetings to capture notes, actions, and follow-ups.
    • Support ad hoc requests and day-to-day activities.
    • Data & System Support - Help with data preparation activities, including data validation, cleansing, and coordinating the organization of files for uploads.
    • Verify that required data fields are populated and raise questions or issues to senior team members.
    • Support basic data readiness and validation checks.
    • Testing Support - Assist with test execution (SIT/UAT) and help coordinate with business users during testing cycles.
    • Support access validation activities prior to UAT and release.
    • Organization Readiness - Help deliver role to position mapping and SAP/Ariba security design. Support in Organization Readiness activities such as change leader network, site engagements and roadshows, and training.
    • Delivery & Coordination - Monitor tasks and ensure updates are made on time. Support transition activities for sustainment and handover to operations.
Qualifications
    • Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
    • Good grasp of business processes (procurement, sourcing, inventory, warehouse management).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
    • Good experience in implementing SAP S/4 HANA and Ariba enterprise systems.
    • Ability to speak in English and Spanish language is an asset.
    • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and documentation tools.
    • Ability to multitask in a multifaceted work environment.
