0.8 F.T.E. Term Specific Librarian and Literacy Teacher

Location: Kent Elementary School, 650 Kawkawa Lake Rd, Hope, BC V1L 4

Term: Effective September 8, 2026 to June 25, 2027, teaching Monday through Thursday subject to the return of the incumbent.

Qualifications

• a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate;
• University degree in elementary education.

Preferences

• a previous record of successful experience in Library or a degree/diploma in Library Sciences;
• a focus on Early Literacy;
• experience and/or In-service/Professional Development working with Indigenous Students, their families, and communities.

Salary

Salary: $61,502 - $113,628 depending on Category and Grid Level
