Deliver high-quality instruction and engage with future social work professionals. Douglas College is looking for contract faculty to enhance our Social Work Department. You will educate and support students pursuing their degree while employing innovative teaching methods that prioritize critical and anti-oppressive practices. Collaborate within a collegial environment to promote quality education. Key Responsibilities: • Teach and evaluate students in BSW program courses • Create and manage engaging learning activities and resources • Collaborate with faculty members and contribute to initiatives • Attend department meetings and engage in faculty collaborations Requirements: • Master's degree in Social Work; doctoral degree preferred • At least 5 years of Child and Family Services experience • Expertise in social work practice and theory • Proven ability to implement inclusive teaching methods • Experience in a teaching environment is preferred Make a difference in the lives of aspiring social workers at Douglas College by sharing your expertise.
