
Salary Range: $95,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually
OverviewWe are looking for a decisive, technically credible QA Manager to own our quality function and drive real improvement across the business. You will lead a team of QC Inspectors, own our ISO 9001:2015 system, manage customer-facing quality requirements, and be the go-to technical authority when quality issues arise on the floor. This is a leadership role that requires equal parts technical knowledge, people management, and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and manage a team of QC Inspectors
- Maintain and continuously improve EBCO's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
- Manage internal and external audits, including customer and third-party audits
- Serve as the primary authority for quality-related decisions and issue resolution
- Oversee customer quality requirements, turnover packages, weld logs, WPS compliance, CoCs, and quality documentation
- Manage customer NCRs, complaints, corrective actions, and root cause investigations
- Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) where required
- Manage calibration programs and quality records through approved quality systems
- Review and maintain approved supplier qualifications and performance
- Track quality metrics and provide meaningful reporting to management
- Support contract review and customer-specific quality requirements
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management
- 5+ years of QA/QC experience in fabrication, machining, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and manufacturing quality requirements
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems
- Experience managing audits, NCRs, corrective actions, and customer quality requirements
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and GD&T
- Experience with ERP systems and quality management software
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is considered a strong asset
- Technical certification, diploma, or degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Welding Technology, or a related field is preferred

- Security clearance eligibility (Reliability or Secret Level)
- CWB Inspector Level 2 or 3 certification
- CWB Weld Supervisor certification
- Experience with Lloyd's Register (LR) or DNV requirement
- Experience with ASME codes and standards
- NDT familiarity or related certifications
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, marine, or other highly regulated industries
