Insight Global is looking for an Equipment Services Coordinator to support a large fast food restaurant chain hybrid at their corporate home office in North Vancouver. The Equipment Services Coordinator is responsible for providing value and maintaining a high level of customer service to company operators through equipment estimates and procurement, and expediting and problem solving on equipment, décor and signage orders for both new and existing restaurants. On the day to day, the Equipment Services Coordinator will be balancing working on ongoing projects and responding to customer services requests as they arise. These ongoing projects include restaurant renovations, building net new restaurants and ongoing innovation.

Other Accountabilities Include

  • Maintains a high level of customer service by providing knowledgeable, accurate and timely information and direction on equipment, signage and decor inquiries and problem resolution to internal and external partners such as General Contractors, Franchisees, suppliers and others;
  • Prepares and reviews estimates for new and existing restaurant projects;
  • Prepares and places purchase orders and expedites equipment, signage and decor orders to effectively meet project deadlines for existing and new restaurants;
  • Ensures the timely resolution of deficiency, warranty and service problems for new and existing restaurants;
  • Timely resolution of credits, claims and invoicing issues related with each project or order;
  • Maintains key information lists and supplier information (eg. small wares, start up forms, Smartsheet, Google databases, procurement system, inventory management);
  • Assists the Equipment Services Manager in other related projects as required.

Must haves

  • A customer service orientation with a previous experience in customer service / hospitality
  • Bilingual English / French written and verbal communication
  • Familiarity working with collaborative technology software tools such as the Google suite
  • Organizational ability, adaptability, problem solving and administration skills.
  • A post-secondary degree in Commerce or Business Administration, or a related degree.
