About the Role
Location: Vancouver store Status: Full time Compensation: $115,000 - $120,000/yr
Primary Responsibilities- Effectively manage and oversee all daily business matters of the assigned store.
- Drive best in class service through all staff levels.
- Partner with all leaders, including Food & Beverage leadership, to ensure cross departmental efficiency.
- Continuously monitor business administration to maximize the in store experience, covering payroll, time & attendance, vacation, and PTO accrual.
- Support Operations team to ensure consistent execution of all operational processes.
- Partner with the Remote Warehouse team for effective product flow.
- Create developmental plans for the managerial team to drive a positive work environment.
- Efficiently communicate with HQ business partners, including Executive, Human Resources, Buying & Allocation, and Visual Merchandising teams.
- Immediately address and resolve in store issues left unresolved by management.
- Partner with the Security & Facilities Manager to maintain a safe working and shopping environment, complying with all legal requirements.
- Stay updated on all in store initiatives, product releases, visual changes, and security/facilities matters across all retail, F&B, and storage spaces.
- Focus on a positive environment by addressing Employee Relations or HR matters through appropriate channels.
- Facilitate all store training and development initiatives, providing opportunities for the management team.
- Oversee and assist with housekeeping responsibilities such as dusting, sweeping, trash collection, and traditional retail tasks.
- Assist with inventory counts as required.
- Host store visits or VIP shopping experiences.
- Communicate product knowledge or brand education material to the team.
- Ensure all in store facilities are safely operational and report any issues.
- Provide high level business insight to HQ partners.
- Availability: Open and flexible, including evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, and special projects or drops/releases as needed.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in a high volume/high traffic customer facing management role.
- 4+ years of retail/apparel operations experience.
- 3+ years leading a team of managers and supervisors.
- 2+ years leading a commission based sales team.
- Skills / Abilities:
- Advanced business acumen for sales and payroll forecasting.
- Comprehensive communication, delegation, and follow up skills.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and POS systems.
- Physical capability to lift and move 25 lbs, bend, twist, climb ladders or step stools, and stand or walk for prolonged periods.
- Professional characteristics: Organized, detail oriented, career driven, strong & thorough communicator.
- Personal characteristics: Natural born leader, intuitive, solution driven, reliable.
