Senior Supervisor, Mine Geotechnical Operations

Take on a critical role at Highland Valley Copper as a Senior Engineer Supervisor, focusing on mine geotechnical management. This position is on-site and full-time, emphasizing safety and teamwork. Teck is looking for a dedicated professional with extensive mining experience to join our Logan Lake team. You will lead the Mine Geotechnical program, engaging with both internal teams and external consultants to achieve compliance in geotechnical designs. Your strong problem-solving skills will be vital as you navigate the complexities of open-pit operations and actively participate in safety initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure safety leadership and environmental compliance • Supervise and mentor geotechnical engineering staff • Oversee dewatering installation activities • Review consultants' work for compliance with specifications • Conduct inspections and manage asset budgeting Requirements: • Degree in Geological or Geotechnical Engineering • Eligible for P.
