Clinical Research Manager at BC Children's

Lead clinical trial initiatives as a Research Manager in the Division of Neurology at BC Children's and Women's Health Centre. Oversee studies aimed at pediatric neurological disorders while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. In this role, you will manage the start-up and support for clinical studies, ensuring operational feasibility and adherence to budget and timeline constraints.

Collaborate with staff and principal investigators while providing strategic leadership. Your expertise will guide the preparation of critical regulatory documents and the administration of study activities within the program. Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess feasibility of industry-sponsored studies
• Manage start-up processes and assign work for protocols
• Hire and evaluate study staff in collaboration with the Research Director
• Prepare and maintain ethics applications for regulatory compliance
• Ensure adherence to legal and ethical trial standards Requirements:
• Post-graduate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of Canadian regulatory principles
• Experience with UBC RISe or similar systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
