Overview Purpose: The Finance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the records of the business. As part of that maintenance, the Finance coordinator takes the lead on creating payment schedules for clients and outstanding debts as well as ensuring vendors are paid within their terms to avoid interest charges. The Finance Coordinator works directly with the Director of Finance, the General Manager and all department managers to ensure accurate billing, invoicing and account coding. The work of the finance coordinator is very important to the fiscal well-being of the organization. With all aspects of spending and collections in control of this position, this can save a company a significant sum during the course of the operating year.
