You are a self-motivator who loves the idea of new challenges. You can grasp new concepts quickly and you embrace teamwork and relationship building. You are open to new ideas, demonstrate honesty and integrity, and actively participate in learning. You have a desire to work in a dynamic team and know every person in your accounting department "counts".
In this entry-level position, your primary focus will be to support the day-to-day functions of the group, while providing growth and education. During your 16-month term, you will process invoices, assist in customer rebate reporting, and prepare weekly commission vendor payments. You will be working within the finance department, as you assist with the preparation of weekly duty remittances, post-month-end journal vouchers, and provide support to finance team members as needed. Your willingness to help where necessary just makes "cents".
Ideally, you have a university or college degree in business or an equivalent level of education and experience. Your excellent communication, organizational skills, and month-end cycle process experience would "compound our interest" in your application. For bonus points, you have mastered advanced computer skills specifically, MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
