Our Paid Indigenous Internship program provides provides developmental roles designed to equip new graduates or individuals seeking entry level positions who self-identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit with a foundation for a career in banking or corporate management.

This internship role focuses on developing key business skills with the goal to increase your experience, autonomy, and complexity over the course of a 12-month learning program. You will partner with experienced professionals in the business supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, as an integral member of your team. We have roles available in a wide range of business and corporate areas, including:

  • Information Services (IT)
  • People & Culture


Interns will have the support of great mentors and advocates, opportunities for formal learning within our Teal Academy, and can be members of The Sharing Circle, our employee resource group for Indigenous employees and allies.

Requirements
  • Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Has strong critical, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Eager to work collaboratively with a team of passionate individuals
  • Excellent research skills and eager to ask questions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to receive and provide thoughtful, quality feedback
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to changes
  • Maintains a high degree of ethics and can maintain confidentiality (if and when required)
