If you are committed to excellence, we invite you to join our experienced team as a Project Cost Controller operating out of the Kelowna office with occasional travel to various project sites.

The successful candidate will be someone comfortable with a fast pace & dynamic environment. They will be able to adapt well under pressure, be self motivated and take direction well. As a Project Cost Controller, you will be detail oriented and comfortable working with a lot of data to support project sites and serve the financial reporting needs of the company. Although working in a smaller satellite office this person will be willing to support the needs of Project Management. A team approach is mandatory and will require an open minded and adaptable work ethic.

Expectations
  • Strong aptitude for analyzing and reconciling data
  • Coordination of billing and tracking all site documentation for the project
  • Coordinating PO's and invoicing
  • Provides financial support to the Corporate Cost Controller
  • Managing files specific to the project
  • Manage correspondence with subcontractors specific to support of the Project
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Highly organized with acute attention to detail
  • Exemplary communication and time management skills
  • Strong team player but confident working on own
  • Willing to take direction and be the main point of contact for the office


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Advanced understanding and command of MS Excel
  • Accounting skills including accruals and AP/AR
  • Preference will be given to individuals with Civil and/or Industrial Construction project experience


The ideal candidate will be willing to work Monday-Friday, and Saturdays as required.
