As our Electrical Engineer Co-op, you have the opportunity to learn from our Electrical Engineers. You will assist with the implementation of the electrical preventive and predictive maintenance program and support the electrical spare part inventory management, including development of bill of materials, item master and spare part optimization. Your strong analytical mindset will help you in this 8-month Co-op placement (September start) as you gather technical data of the various mill electrical equipment including switchgears, motor control centers, transformers and variable frequency drives. Can we get a "watt, watt"?!

To qualify for this role, you are currently enrolled in a Co-op program at an educational institution and are majoring in electrical engineering or in an electrical engineering technology program. Previous pulp mill or other industrial experience would "spark" our interest in you even more.

If you are an energetic and dedicated Co-op student, ready to learn from the best in the biz, click that "apply" button, today!

Every year, Canfor hires students who gain hands-on experience and training as part of our dedicated co-op program.
