Where: Mt-Milligan Mine (McLeod Lake)
What: Full time positions
Remote site: - Drive In, Drive Out
Rotation: 28 days IN - 14 days Out
Shift: 10 hours per day - (may change upon the occupation of the site)
Hourly wage: To be confirm per hour - based on a 10-hour shift (may change upon the occupation of the site)
Shuttle bus: Free shuttle bus from Prince Georges, MacKenzie, Smithers, Fort St-James

Job Description

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a Guest Services Agent to join our dynamic team. This position is a full-time role FULL TIME. You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

You are a dynamic and reliable person with good communication and interpersonal skills. You are committed to quality assurance and safety.

During your mandate you will perform administrative duties for the front desk such as: checking in and out guests, billing for services used at the hotel and payment of invoices. You will be required to keep accurate records of room inventory, receive and distribute mail, take phone calls and messages for our clients and guests. You will be required to inform our guests the services offered by the hotel, nearby activities such as restaurants, cultural tours, entertainment and transportation. You will be required to make reservations for our guests (restaurants, transportation, hotel room reservations, etc.), respond to requests for special hotel services such as securing valuables and/or ordering complimentary items. You may be required to act as a senior front desk clerk to guide and direct junior front desk clerks.

You will be attending training programs (classroom and virtual) as needed, comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures, perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned as required

A high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is required. 3-5 years' experience is required.
  • Experience working with Orissa or other system and/or Innfinity property management system
  • Guest Services in previous camp, lodge, or hotel
  • Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook required or reservation and management POS system -
  • 10h shifts
  • 3-5 year experience in a remote camp environment
  • Experience with cash out report
