The Opportunity!

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the position of Account Relations Administrator is responsible for effectively managing day-to-day administrative duties related to underwriting, client service, and billing for the home warranty department.

What you will do:
  • Execute on the membership, licensing and renewal processes, builder enrolment and de-enrolment process, and Certificate of Possession (COP) process, including policy document issuance.
  • Monitoring outstanding/overdue COP's and follow-up with builder to ensure timely issuance of policy documents to homeowner.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of specified sections of the acts and regulations regarding home warranty insurance in the geographical area of responsibility.
  • Ensuring accurate collection and maintenance of information in our data base.
  • Working closely with our Underwriting and Sales team to support operational needs.
  • Compile and organize incoming mail/email, supporting incoming calls and inquiries from clients and 3rd party vendors, and other customer service tasks as required.
  • Special projects and all other duties as reasonably assigned.


What you will bring:
  • Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License or the willingness to obtain.
  • Proficient technical skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other standard business software).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Knowledge of land title registration systems or residential real estate lending or construction is not required, but would be considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education would be considered an asset.
