Warehouse Merchandise Handlers for our
Vernon Distribution Centre located at
7284 Meadowlark Road.As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler with us you will be responsible for safely handling product in the warehouse according to floor procedures.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handlers you will:
- Receiving: unload trailers, merchandise handling, unwrap and tag product and investigate variances
- Shipping: load trailers, merchandise handling and wrap product
- Deck review: product inspection, assembly and repair
- Pick Truck Operation: merchandise handling and product movement
- Special Needs Lane (SNL): store transfers, delivery returns, SNL investigations, inventory control & management and furniture inspections
- Assist with Customer pick-ups
- Other duties as assigned
As a successful candidate you will have the following:- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects greater than 50 lbs.
- 1-2 years previous warehouse experience an asset
- Ability to read and understand documents such as instructions for use, directions and safety manuals
- Computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
- Good verbal communication skills
- Lift truck certification or ability to take and pass company's certified training
- Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs in warm and cold conditions
- Flexible schedule requirements including evenings and weekends
- Valid Class 5 or N Driver's license with clean Driver's abstract
