Job Description

RE/MAX is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team player to join our Canadian Learning & Development Team to help bring our tech adoption and training to the next level! The goal of the L&D team is to create a network of RE/MAX tech advocates who understand the value of RE/MAX tools and implement the tools in their daily workflows to enhance their business. As an L&D Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding the intricacies of RE/MAX tools, developing and implementing a successful technology training program in an easy-to-understand format, managing content consistency, driving team objectives and key results, testing and monitoring results, and developing strategies to further the success of the RE/MAX Tech Advocacy Program.

About This Position

The Technology L&D Specialist role reports to the Manager of Technology Learning & Development - Canada. The L&D Specialist will focus on learning all aspects of RE/MAX Tech and how they apply to the agent and broker experience while simultaneously developing and delivering effective training in the Canadian market.

All training focuses on helping RE/MAX agents become more productive and impacts overall recruiting and retention efforts. L&D Specialists are responsible for maintaining their own schedule and managing time across all tasks. It is expected that you are producing work that is imaginative, original, and accurate as you are representing the most recognized brand in the real estate industry.

The Main Responsibilities For This Position Include

  • Develop trackable outcome-based training and education curriculums with little direction from leadership (including live and virtual presentations, handouts, videos, learning tracks and online quizzes)
  • Represent the L&D Team in cross-functional product meetings, developing tool curriculums and bringing back key pieces of information that ensure the success of all
  • Host and conduct a variety of presentations and trainings to be delivered daily - live in-region, online, and at large-scale events, regularly adjusting training tone to fit audience segment
  • Possess creative and problem-solving skills to invent new ways to accommodate the learning needs of contemporary learners
  • Learn new technologies without direction/guidance and communicate findings to the network through detailed and workflow-based video, webinars, and learning tracks
  • Maintain updated training curriculum and resources, along with training records/assets - Monitoring the results of the Engagement Department initiatives
  • Stay current with L&D Industry trends and best practices to elevate learning offerings.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with quick deadlines
  • Other tasks needed to support the goals of the L&D Team and the RE/MAX Organization


Required Skills

  • 1+ year of experiencing working in a face-paced SAAS/agile environment
  • 2+ years in Technology Training/Customer Success role, regularly training in front of large audiences
  • Ability to travel frequently by air, approx 25%, as public health guidelines allow, meeting all air travel requirements
  • Ability to take complex or technical concepts and translate them into relatable stories that impact the real estate business and industry
  • Ability to work independently and in ambiguous environments
  • Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Adult Education, Marketing, Communications Customer Service or related field (equivalent work experience also acceptable - including real estate experience)
  • Extensive experience training/presenting in front of 40+ people
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and adhere to systems/processes
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Proven track record of hitting deadlines


Hire Range/Rate:

$50,000 - $55,000

Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
