Job Summary

Are you passionate about leveraging the power of search platforms to drive results? We have an opportunity for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in our Richmond, BC headquarters. This is a 1-year maternity leave term position, with the possibility of converting to a permanent position for the right individual.

The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist is a critical role in our Marketing department. You will partner with our Portfolio Marketing clients and other digital marketers to conceptualize and execute complex, integrated B2B marketing campaigns on a global scale that deliver on company goals and do so in a scalable fashion. Individually, you will manage pay-per-click advertising strategies across Google, Microsoft and other paid channels as well as work with our SEO agency to drive quality traffic and manage our organic keyword strategy.

The right candidate is obsessed with data - analyzing and assessing the efforts of pulling various marketing levers. Using data, you will ensure all integrated campaigns are optimized and delivering ROI. You will possess a balance of strategic thinking, creative passion, and ambitious drive to ensure that goals are being hit. Words like "deliberate," "detail-oriented," "organized" and "creative" also describe you.

    • Campaign Planning & Strategy - Plan delivery mechanisms according to overall campaign plans. Execute on these plans to meet ROI objectives. Work closely with the Media Buying team to meet overall MQL and pipeline goals.
    • CPC Program Management - Manage budget and optimizations as well as launch new campaigns, completing keyword research and developing ad copy as required.
    • SEO Program Management - Work with our agency to implement on-page and technical SEO tactics to support new product launches as well as ongoing keyword optimization.
    • Campaign Reporting and Optimization - Work within our CRM to report out on campaign performance as it relates to pipeline and MQL generation.

Required Education, Experience & Skills
    • 3+ years marketing experience
    • 3+ years working with paid media & SEO
    • Strong knowledge of Google ads platform (search, display, remarketing, shopping)
    • Knowledge and in-depth experience with remarketing and custom audience targeting
    • Knowledge and in-depth experience with Google Analytics, SEMRush, CrazyEgg
    • Experience optimizing and executing e-commerce and lead generation activities.
    • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively quality control test campaigns prior to launch
    • Strong sense of urgency and experience in deadline driven roles
    • A love of data - extracting insights and using data to optimize activities
    • A long-term thinker capable of building for simplicity, scale, and repeatability
    • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig into the details required for highly targeted marketing
    • Highly motivated, high energy
    • Clever, original, and inventive - with a passion for using experimentation and learning to create competitive advantage
    • Team player with strong skills in the areas of leadership, motivation, relationship building, and communications
