685202 BC Ltd is a licensed building maintenance company serving apartments in the Vancouver area. We are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities: To oversee and organize the work of maintenance workers in various tasks such as roofing, finishing concrete surfaces, laying tiles, plastering, installing drywall, fitting glass, adding insulation, and painting. To ensure that work schedules are met and coordinate tasks with other contractors. Resolve any work-related issues and suggest ways to enhance efficiency and quality. To order necessary materials and supplies and provide training to maintenance workers on their job responsibilities, safety measures, and company guidelines. Recommend hiring new staff and promotions based on performance. Prepare reports on work orders and work progress. Additionally, supervise and coordinate the activities of apprentices, helpers, and other labourers involved in the maintenance and repair work. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: – Completion of Secondary School. – A minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance. Supervisory experience is an asset. – Ability to communicate effectively in English. We are located at 5955 Yew St, Vancouver, BC V6M 3Y7 We are offering $36.60/hour 40 hrs./week.
