Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom monitors to supplement built-in monitoring of OEM and SQL Diagnostic Manager
• Provide operational and sustainment support of all our SQL and Oracle environments
• Proactively monitor database health, performance and space
• Assist developers to tune SQL queries as well as both PL/SQL and T-SQL code
• Support disaster recovery site and process and participate in disaster recovery process tests

Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience preferably in a Database Administrator role
• Completed a university degree (Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent)
• Experience with one of Oracle or SQL Server
• Experience with automation and scripting
• Snowflake experience an asset but not required

Pay Rate: $60-80 per/hour.
