Job Description:
Title: General Construction Labourer
NOC: NOC 75110
Position(s) Available: 1
Work Location(s): BC V1B 3Z6 and Various Construction Sites
Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hours
Compensation: $27 per hour

Benefit:
10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:
No degree, certificate or diploma is required
Relevant experience is an asset. Will train.
Basic English communication skill is required.

Job Responsibilities:
Load and unload construction materials and transport them to designated work areas.
Assemble and disassemble concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required at construction sites.
Mix, pour, and distribute materials such as concrete.
Support skilled tradespeople including carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers, and glaziers with various construction tasks.
Assist with rock drilling and blasting operations at construction sites.
Grade and level earth to precise specifications using rakes, shovels, and hand tools.
Help demolish structures using pry bars and other equipment, then sort, clean, and stack salvageable materials.
Clear construction sites of rubble and debris using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and related equipment.
Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators, tampers, and similar equipment as instructed.
Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and safely remove asbestos and other hazardous materials.
Carry out additional assigned tasks and duties at construction sites as directed.
