Yard Locations: 12340 Winram Road, Surrey, BC, V3V 3Y5, 12322 Winram Road, Surrey, BC, V3V 3Y5 Office Location: A Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3T 1Y8 Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening Wage Rate: $45.50 per hour, for 40.00 Hours per week Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible Duties: Check trucks for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Determine the extent of repair required. Adjust, repair or replace defective parts or components. Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance. May interpret work orders, technical manuals, each work done for reference and write service reports. Follow safety rules and regulations. Test repaired equipment for proper performance. Requirements: Education: High School Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience. Languages: Basic English Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, physically demanding Essential Skills: Working with others, judgement, flexibility, reliability, accurate, dependability Other: Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
