Medical Science Liaison – Neuroscience
Job Summary:
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will execute the regional field-based strategy for the Medical Affairs team. As a scientific expert, the MSL will develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in Ontario, providing clinical and medical insights to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Educate healthcare professionals on disease states, therapeutic areas, and products through scientific exchange.
• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and key influencers.
• Support clinical trial activities, facilitating investigator-initiated and company-sponsored research.
• Organize and participate in regional advisory boards, delivering medical presentations and gathering insights.
• Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, and Marketing teams to review scientific publications and develop key summaries.
• Address unsolicited medical inquiries, working with internal medical teams for accurate information.
• Foster collaborations across Medical Affairs, internal teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (M.D., PhD, PharmD, MSc).
• Previous MSL experience.
• Strong scientific knowledge with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
