Position Overview

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to close-out. This role works closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation including schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of materials and information.
• Support the Project Manager in tracking project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Attend site meetings and prepare meeting minutes, action items, and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate and organized project records, drawings, and documentation.
• Assist with procurement processes including issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
• Facilitate communication between office and site teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Support the close-out process including compiling turnover packages and warranty documentation.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a construction project coordination or related role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, MS Project, or similar construction management software is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
