Project Manager – Land Foundations

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in land foundation construction, including pile driving, shoring, ground improvement, and deep foundation systems. The successful candidate will lead complex foundation projects from pre-construction through execution, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of land foundation projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee site activities such as pile installation, shoring, excavation support, and ground improvement techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation including RFIs, change orders, progress reports, and cost tracking.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil construction with a focus on land foundations.
• Proven track record managing deep foundation projects (e.g., driven piles, sheet piles, secant walls, ground densification).
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and foundation engineering.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
• PMP certification or P.Eng designation is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
