ABOUT THE ROLE The Specialty Home Pharma RPN/LPN, under the leadership of the Specialty Pharma Supervisor and/or Specialty Pharma Manager, delivers and monitors specialized infusion or injectable pharmacological treatments, completes various types of lab testing or observation visits and supports clinical trial visits in the home setting. The home pharma nurse is responsible for monitoring the client for infusion and injection related reactions (intervening as required), providing health teaching for self-injections, ensure documentation required for the various medical therapies is complete, and submitted to meet the reporting timelines. This includes documentation required for billing, post visit reports, reporting required pharmacovigilance.
