Dmitriy Likhachev is the Industry Process Consultant of Dassault Systemes, a global leader in the software for harmonizing human, product and life. He is married and has one children.
Dmitriy Likhachev has 6 years of corporate experience in smart city, automobile industries and science. He spent nearly 3 years in Dassault Systemes where he has been the Solution Consultant, and later the Industry Process Consultant. He managed the integration of simulation and physics modeling in Qingdao carbon neutral city and Hong Kong smart city projects, which helped yearn the revenue of $1.5 million. He facilitated the design of air recirculation system of the large-scale hospital in Wuhan, which was constructed in record time. Due to his consulting service, FAW Jiefang launched new cargo truck with much improved performance characteristics. He has been invited to diverse platforms in Dassault Systemes for interaction across the world.
Prior to Dassault Systemes, he was a postdoctoral researcher for almost 3 years, in the Chemical Machinery laboratory of Zhejiang University, one of the top in China. He led the experiments, which helped increase the efficiency of pumps, a well-cited innovation. Under his watch, two PhD students were graduated.
Dmitriy Likhachev did M.Tech. with honors at Siberian Federal University, PhD at the Harbin Institute of Technology, and MBA in China-Europe International Business School, Shanghai China. He has done internship in Concord New Energy in Beijing, and been exchange student in McCombs School of Business in University of Texas, Austin US.
Dmitriy Likhachev takes interest in arts. He is active contributor in miniature painters’ community at Facebook, Patreon and YouTube. He has been playing guitar and bass for leisure. He sustains active lifestyle by doing fitness, riding a bicycle, and hiking.

Conducted experimental research (DOE) on applied hydrodynamics and structural mechanics of industrial equipment (CAD/CAE/meshing). Operated state-of-the-art research facilities, managing R&D work of 5 engineers, and developed technology innovations for suppression of cavitation in pumps. Managed $650K funds for R&D cooperation among Zhejiang University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Siberian Federal University, and delivered complex research reports to Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC.
