Location: Richmond, BC

Employment Type: 3 Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $25.70/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary

We are seeking a Logistics Clerk to provide administrative and clerical support to our logistics operations team in Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a logistics, transportation, freight, distribution, or warehouse environment and be comfortable handling data entry, documentation, customer service, and general office responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support to the logistics operations team.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain logistics-related records and documentation.
  • Assist with processing and updating shipment, delivery, and transportation information.
  • Support the team with filing, document management, and general office administration.
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Review information for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies when required.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook, for daily tasks.
  • Communicate with internal teams, customers, drivers, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Assist with other logistics and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight, distribution, or a warehouse environment is required.
  • Previous clerical, administrative, or logistics coordination experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Comfortable with data entry and handling a high volume of information accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, and responsible with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Available to start ASAP and commit to a minimum of 2–3 months.
