0.28 FTE Continuing part-time Grades 5, 6 & 7 Band and Grade 8 to 12 Senior Band teaching position, beginning September 1, 2026.

Schedule: Tuesday & Thursdays

1:25 to 2:45 pm Grade 5 to 7 Band, 3:30 to 5:00 pm Grade 8 to 12 Band

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Training and experience working with grade-level students
    • Experience with adapting materials, resources, assessments, and learning outcomes for student needs
    • Valid BC Teaching Certificate and familiarity with the BC Curriculum
    • Teaching category five or higher
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • A commitment to supporting a variety of learning needs
    • Experience/training in supporting the social-emotional learning needs of students
    • Committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff and parents
    • Committed to working as a member of a school team in support of students

The starting annual salary for this full-time teacher position ranges from $64,664 - $112,806, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
