This is a continuing contract position.

This position is effective September 8, 2026.

While all applicants will be considered, preference will be given to qualified applicants who self-declare Indigenous ancestry.

The starting annual salary for a school teacher position ranges from $63,670 to $116,190, with placement on the range based on the length of service and qualifications in accordance in accordance with the collective agreement. Positions of Special Responsibility receive an additional pay allowance in accordance with the collective agreement based on the levels 1, 2, or 3.

This posting involves working as a collaborative member of a 5 teacher team and teachers will have common planning time. Please contact the principal regarding the program structure and details.

Middle Years Teacher
    • Bachelor of Education
    • current demonstrated ability to teach at the middle years level would be considered an asset
    • sound knowledge of technologies and their educational application
    • experience and skill working with behavioural challenged students
    • demonstrated current knowledge of the subject area, including Big Ideas, curricular competencies, content and appropriate resources
    • an understanding and appreciation of the importance of First Nations Language and culture
    • strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
    • ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
    • Demonstrate current understanding of culturally responsive learning environment and assessment practices
