Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd. requires Independent Contractors for our Domestic Fleet. This position is running Vancouver, BC - Calgary, AB two roundtrips per week.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner
• Handle freight and freight documents
• Perform pre trip, post trip inspections and preventive maintenance checks
• Professional communication with customers
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety regulations
• Perform all other duties as requested

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: Earn up to $2.20 per mile
• Other Compensation: Paid Orientation
• Stability: Full time, steady hours and consistent year round work
• Safety: Safety oriented company with a safety program in place

Qualifications

• Class 1A driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience
• Must own your own truck (5 years or newer)
• LCV experience is an asset
• Ability to drive in all terrains
• Experience with heaters and reefers
• Professional appearance and good hygiene
• Safe driving record verified by a current driver's abstract
• Ability to perform all duties without restriction
