Senior Development Officer at SMUS

Shape philanthropic engagement as St. Michaels University School's Senior Development Officer. Focus on building meaningful connections with donors, and elevate the impact of giving in our community. This full-time position reports to the Director of Advancement. The ideal candidate has at least three years of fundraising experience and excels in relationship-building. Responsibilities include cultivating major donors, engaging community members, and developing strategic fundraising plans that align with SMUS's mission. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and cultivate new donor relationships • Execute strategies for existing major gift donors • Engage donors through visits, calls, and events • Support student awards programs and other initiatives • Maintain accurate donor records in Raiser's Edge NXT Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Minimum three years of progressive fundraising experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of ethical fundraising standards • Cultural fluency and adaptability in engagement Bring your fundraising expertise and commitment to St. Michaels University School to foster lasting donor relationships.
