
Psychiatry Director for Integrated Care Systems
Be a key leader as a Program Medical Director, driving mental health transformation. Ensure effective clinical integration and quality improvements in Mental Health and Substance Use. This role requires you to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to enhance service clarity and patient care transitions. Provide governance and support for medical staff while championing culturally safe care practices. Advocate for continuous quality improvement to meet the evolving needs of the community effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Lead medical governance for MHSU services • Integrate services to improve patient care pathways • Collaborate with operational leaders for system redesign • Support development of consistent and safe policies • Advocate for patient safety and quality improvements Requirements: • Psychiatry certification required; BC licensure necessary • CMPA membership is a must • Experience in health system leadership is essential • Deep understanding of quality and safety practices • Strong expertise in managing change initiatives Drive the transformation of mental health services with effective leadership and a focus on system integration and patient-centered care.
